Allan is a qualified Engineering Director with over 30 years’ experience within the railway industry. The vast majority of time has been spent within a maintenance & overhaul environment in roles which included technician, team leader and project engineer. He has a proven ability to work under his own initiative to achieve business goals supported by sound engineering competencies.

Involved with the Fleet Acceptance, commissioning, testing and maintenance of new Diesel & Electric rolling stock introductions in Germany & the UK.  This included visits to sites involved with the construction of vehicles and components across Europe. Allan is approved as a Technical Assessor for the RSSB RISAS scheme.

Outside of work, Allan is a volunteer for the Holme Valley Mountain Rescue Team.
